Cannery Casino Resorts (CCR) has named Ryan Paulos as vice president and general manager of Cannery Casino & Hotel, located at 2121 East Craig Road, in North Las Vegas, Nev.

“We are happy to announce that Ryan Paulos, a seasoned executive with our organization and in the gaming industry, will help continue the success Cannery Casino has experienced,” said Tom Lettero, president and chief financial officer of Cannery Casino.

Paulos has more than 20 years of experience in the gaming industry. As the senior executive that handles all management of the property, he oversees property operations, human resources, gaming, security, food and beverage and marketing. Ryan provides leadership and is responsible for the development and implementation of organizational goals, plans, budgets and revenue strategies.

Paulos has been with CCR since 2001. Most recently he was CCR’s vice president of gaming operations and prior to that he was Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel’s assistant general manager, CCR’s corporate director of slot operations and Rampart Casino’s assistant director of slot operations.

Before joining the CCR team, Ryan was slot shift manager for Greektown Casino in Detroit, Mich. and slot supervisor at The Venetian Las Vegas. He began his gaming career in a management training program at Nevada Palace Casino where he spent time in all of the property’s gaming departments. He has also provided gaming consultation to casinos across the country.

Additionally, Ryan’s resume includes jousting as a knight in a medieval‐themed Las Vegas show and fighting as a gladiator at Caesars Palace in Atlantic City. Outside of work, Ryan loves spending time with this family and enjoys Muay Thai sparring, a form of kickboxing that uses elbows and knees.
