As we head into the weekend we have a look forward to, and back on, the highest stories from the PokerStars world.

The highlight of the 3 Main Events was most probably the "High" rendition, what with its all-star line-up. It was Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi who sealed the wire to wire win, never really surrendering the chip lead he took into the last nine. He got the easier of Sean "Nolez7" Winter heads-up to record his third SCOOP win and a primary prize of $1,468,000.

While Shakerchi earned the headlines at the virtual felt, the Championship itself was picking them up off it. The 17 days of SCOOP competition set a brand new record for the richest ever online poker series. The whole prize pool of $90,984,283.44 across 56 events (168 tournaments), smashed the former record of $81,222,158.66, set during SCOOP 2014, by nearly $10 million. What's more the 3 Main Events (low, medium and high) each surpassed previous bests, both in field size and prize pool. 

This week may be Omaha Week. On a daily basis as much as this Sunday a maximum prize of $5,000 might be randomly awarded to players who've opted in to the Omaha Card Hunt Puzzle challenge.
