Rafael Lebron Wins 2016 World Series of Poker $3,000 Six-Max Limit Hold'emNO Deposit bonus $43

The $3,000 buy-in six-max limit hold’em event on the 2016 World Series of Poker drew a field of 245 players, making a prize pool of $668,850. A COMPLETE of 37 players finished within the money, earning a minimum payout of $4,578.

After three days of play, the bracelet and the $169,337 first-place prize was awarded to 33-year-old poker player Rafael Lebron from Takoma, Washington.

Believe it or not, this win wasn’t even the largest score of this week for Lebron, who also finished runner-up within the $3,000 buy-in six-max pot-limit Omaha event for $212,779. Previous to this week, Lebron’s largest cash was for just $4,670 in a 2014 WSOP event.

“I wasn’t the most productive player on the final table at all,” Lebron admitted. “I could have been the worst. But, I got lucky. This was my day.”

The final table featured two former bracelet winners in 2015 WSOP main event champion Joe McKeehen (4th) and three-time WSOP winner and Card Player columnist Matt Matros (5th).

Other notables who made they money included Mikhail Semin (8th), Rep Porter (9th), Chris Klodnicki (12th), Ian Johns (14th), Jesse Martin (15th), Jason Somerville (17th), Ylon Schwartz (23rd), Terrence Chan (26th), Jeff Lisandro (28th), Eric Froehlich (33rd) and Jonathan Duhamel (34th).

As end result of the his two big final table appearances this week, Lebron now has 1,662 Card Player Player of the Year points, putting him in 43rd place overall.
