The Poker Night In America poker site in Philadelphia’s SugarHouse Casino will host the SugarRush Challenge from June 22-26. The guarantee is $100,000, the sport is no-limit Texas hold’em, and the surrounds are a part of a $164 million dollar expansion.
This is the second one SugarRush Challenge in as many months and the second one time employing the brand new structure. The brand new structure is a carry over from the primary Challenge.
Poker pro and Poker site Ambassador Matt Glantz said the players really enjoyed the brand new structure. “We started with antes from the very start of the development and not looked back,” Glantz said. “Players could buy-into the day 1 flight for $220+$30 and receive a 25,000 stack, but they may also decide to buy-in or re-enter anytime on day 2 up until the third level of play for $1,000+$100 and receive a 100,000 stack. We had a complete of 512 entries, 492 from day 1s and 20 from day 2 buy-ins.”
“We have the day 2 $1,000+$100 option available to deal with the busy player. While anyone can begin the tournament as early as Wednesday, this $1,100 player can start early on Sunday knowing the tournament will end at the same day. The provision and time commitments of our players vary so drastically and we love to supply as a variety of options as possible.”
“The first SugarHouse Challenge had 20 players buy-in or re-enter on day 2 for the $1,100+$100 and it added almost $20,000 to the prize pool. As an afternoon 1 player, in for $220+$30, the huge bump to the prize pool becomes more exciting as you grown your stack. In case you are lucky enough to get right down to the overall two or three tables you actually begin to appreciate the juiced up prize pool.”
Located along the Delaware River in Pennsylvania’s Fishtown neighborhood at 1001 N. Delaware Avenue, SugarHouse Casino is a hot gaming destination.
