PokerStars unveils monster All-Star ShowdownNO Deposit bonus $43

ps news thn.jpgPokerStars is ready to position on probably the most biggest showdowns it's ever hosted, and it's one like you've never seen.

Eight people. A $100,000 buy-in. Seven days. A $550,000 first prize.

They're calling it the All-Star Showdown, and it's scheduled to start out this weekend. The competition will pit eight of the most important dogs in heads-up no-limit online play against one another in a single-elimination event as a way to end with one in every of them banking greater than half a millon dollars.

If you have been been following along within the PokerStars world for the past week, you will not be surprised to be informed the latest member of Team Online, Isaac Haxton, was first in line to enroll in the competition. We're still working to ensure all eight names at the list. Listed here are the six who've installed their RSVPs so far.

  • Alexander Roumeliotis (Sussie Smith)
  • Alexander Millar (Kanu7)
  • Benjamin Sulsky (Sauce123)
  • Tobias Kuder (KTPOKP)
  • Phil Galfond (mrSweets28)
  • Isaac Haxton (Ike Haxton)

    Here's how we're told it'll work:

The All-Star showdown will function similar to the SuperStar Showdowns of old. Players will face off heads-up on four simultaneous tables. Within the old days, the matches lasted for 2,500 hands. Now, the matches will continue until one of the most players goes broke. The players will begin their matches with 1,000 big blinds. If the match isn't finished by the 3,000th hand, the blinds will double.

The All-Star Showdown is scheduled to start Saturday and continue through Sunday November 4th. There'll be one match each day except October 30th and November 1st. Each match will begin at noon ET (18:00 CET). We're told the brackets and dates for every match can be ready this Friday.

In the meantime, let the guessing begin on who will fill within the last two spots within the bracket. Who do you think that it is going to be? For those who use Twitter, tell us at our account @PokerStarsBlog.
