A new report indicates a bill that will legalize Pennsylvania online gambling and poker may be back at the legislature’s agenda next month. The gambling expansion package that have been at the House floor since late last year seems to be coming off the sidelines.
A new report from the Reading Eagle indicates that the home will absorb a bill involving online gambling in June. That legislation is HB 649, although the tale didn't mention the bill by name.
The bill, when last seen, included numerous different gaming expansions that would derail its progress, including the power for taverns to have video gaming terminals. The bill passed a committee vote last November and were part of budget discussions at one point.
