As the overall table of the Eureka Main Event began this afternoon a statement was made to thrill any player who likes their poker record breaking- a brand new fifth season of the Eureka Poker Tour to start in February 2015.
The Tour returns to something of its spiritual home in Rozvadov, the modest Czech Town that will, for the third time, become the region's poker capital.
The fifth season kicks off on the King's Casino on February 21, 2015 with an intensive schedule of 21 tournaments including the €500,000 guaranteed Eureka Main Event, the €300 Rozvadov Cup and the Eureka 100 Grand Challenge.
While the entire schedule can be released soon you'll fill the time playing satellites on PokerStars, the very best and cheapest option to book your Main Event seat. They start next week on Wednesday December 17. Because the details below demonstrate it's definitely worth the effort.
For starters the primary Event could have two opening flights, but not on consecutive days. Day 1a happens on Saturday February 21, the primary day of the festival, while Day 1b could be played on Thursday February 26.
The time between might be stuffed with the Eureka 100 Grand Challenge, sometimes called a €200 tournament with four starting days and a €100,000 guarantee.
In addition there were a couple of technical changes. As an example the clock for Day 1a and 1b could be 45 minutes, rising to 60 minutes from Day 2 onward. Meanwhile starting stacks has been upped by five grand to 25,000. The primary Event buy-in however remains the similar at €1,000 + €100.
