Gus Hansen Reaches $20.3M In Web Poker Losses

It’s official.

After another terrible week online, Gus Hansen is now down greater than $20.3 million lifetime on Full Tilt Poker, in step with tracking data from HighstakesDB.

Hansen has dusted off roughly $921,000 online this month, bringing his losses to a brand new rock bottom. Take a look at his lifetime graph. It’s pretty incredible.

While Hansen has continued to lose, unknown grinder “thecortster” dominated the triple draw tables during the last week. He won greater than $1.6 million in that point span playing those games.

We do not know who this player is, but we will be able to inform you that the account was first seen in 2011.

Most of the action is within the limit games these days, but that doesn’t mean the largest pots were had there. The most important hand won during the last week went to Patrik “FinddaGrind” Antonius in a $300-$600 pot-limit Omaha hand. Antonius won $399,000 during the last seven days.

The player at the other end of the hand was Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, who won $400,000 since last Friday despite being the victim of Antonius’ perpetual online dominance.

The pair were playing heads-up and Blom had the button. He opened to $1,800, and Antonius three-bet to $5,400. Blom elected to make the call.

The flop fell 8Club Suit 6Heart Suit 3Heart Suit.

Antonius bet $8,400, and Blom made it $36,000. Antonius moved all in for $103,000, and Blom called for his remaining $38,000. Their cards:

Antonius: QHeart Suit QClub Suit 7Heart Suit 6Club Suit
Blom: JHeart Suit 8Diamond Suit 7Spade Suit 5Heart Suit

The players elected to run it twice. The primary run-out was 4Club Suit KClub Suit and the second one was 3Spade Suit AHeart Suit.

Antonius took the pot after creating a flush on both boards.

According to the Omaha odds calculator, Antonius hand is the winner around 62 percent of the time if the players are electing to run it once. He wins it both times roughly 38 percent of the time.
