» BAHA MAR CASINO & HOTEL

Baha Mar Casino & Hotel, the $3.5 billion integrated destination gaming resort under development within the Bahamas, has named Whitney Thier executive vp and general counsel, and appointed Joe Brunini to the post of president of world marketing and customer development.

Their will lead the resort company’s legal team in addition to assume a key role at the company’s executive committee. She joins the corporate at the most important juncture, as Baha Mar completes its construction phase and readies itself for its highly anticipated grand opening in spring 2015.

Their’s previous roles as executive vice president, legal and government affairs of CG Technologies, and general counsel of Fontainebleau Resorts have given her extensive experience in regulatory law, management agreements, gaming technologies, intellectual property, capital financing structures, human resources and resort operations within the Usa and internationally.

Brunini, a 30-year veteran of the casino and integrated resort industry, will identify emerging markets and oversee international customer development and marketing initiatives for Baha Mar. Brunini’s experience includes greater than 12 years as a senior gaming executive with MGM Resorts International, where he most recently served as president, marketing and customer development. During his tenure at MGM, Brunini was answerable for casino operations, customer development, marketing strategy, strategic alliances, expanding the company’s high-net?worth clientele, and maintaining long-term player loyalty on the company’s gaming resorts worldwide.

Prior to joining MGM Resorts in 1998, Brunini served in quite a few key marketing and operating positions with Caesars Entertainment.

» KONAMI GAMING

Konami Gaming, an international leader in casino gaming and systems, announced four key leadership promotions: Eric Schultz to senior director of game software development; Gary Snobel to senior director of corporate planning and IT administration; Clark Warren to senior director of systems sales; and James Sargeant to senior director of manufacturing.

Schultz can be liable for the leadership and direction of Konami’s domestic and international games software development strategy. He maintains and coordinates skilled engineering and design teams spanning new product development, game platform software, and software release lifecycle. Schultz was with Konami since 2004.

Snobel will oversee company-wide systems and infrastructure solutions, financial analysis and planning, and internal/external auditing. He researches, analyzes, and interprets business process and fiscal reporting at Konami Gaming to make sure compliance with relevant accounting standards, gaming regulations, and company operating policies. Snobel have been with Konami since 2006.

Warren will manage Konami’s casino systems sales initiatives, specializing in new business development and building strategic relationships across Konami’s customer base. As a part of Konami’s sales management team, Warren develops and executes strategic sales plans and initiatives to assist drive long-range organizational goals and objectives. He joined Konami in 2011.

Sargeant will oversee games and systems production operations for domestic and international markets and is liable for directing new and refurbishment production, material purchasing/warehouse, and production quality and safety. He joined Konami in 2011 and has greater than TWENTY YEARS combined engineering and operations management experience across quite a lot of industry sectors including electronics, packaging, consumer products, and military.

» MUCKLESHOOT CASINO

The Muckleshoot Tribal Council has announced that tribal gaming veteran Conrad Granito Jr. was hired because the new general manager of the Auburn, Wash.-based Muckleshoot Casino.

Granito began his career in 1990 with the Sycuan Band of Mission Indians, first in bingo then moving directly to gaming operations. In 1993, he moved directly to become general manager for the Pueblo of Isleta in New Mexico, where over a four-year period he took their gaming operation from bingo to an entire casino.

After an 18-month stint as president and chief operating officer of GameTech, Granito returned to Indian Country and over the following 15 years worked for the Southern Ute Tribe in Southwest Colorado, Pueblo of Santa Ana in New Mexico and Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana.

» WMS GAMING

WMS Gaming, a subsidiary of Scientific Gaming Corporation, has appointed Deron Hunsberger as senior vice president, North America sales.

In his new role, Hunsberger will lead sales, participation and leasing, sales support, and marketing for the WMS Gaming business within the Usa and Canada. He'll lead the WMS team’s cope with developing the WMS sales and marketing strategies that meet the desires of gaming customers.

Hunsberger is a skilled leader within the gaming industry with greater than TWO DECADES of sales and marketing experience. He served as senior vice chairman of sales, Americas at SHFL entertainment, now Bally Technologies, from 2011 to July 2014 after joining the corporate as vp of sales and marketing, North America in 2010, and director of North American sales at Konami Gaming.
