Tribal Casino Industry Sets New Gaming Win RecordNO Deposit bonus $43

The National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) said this week that tribal casinos across America won $29.9 billion from gamblers in FY2015.

The figure is a record for the casinos.

The amount was also a five-percent increase over FY2014, the largest gain for the industry in a decade. Revenues had ticked up slightly during the last six years after falling between FY2008 and FY2009, way to the recession.

There were a complete of 474 tribal gaming operations during 2015, consistent with the NIGC.

The California-Norther Nevada region remained the highest tribal gaming market within the country in 2015, with $7.9 billion of the $29.9 billion. It also saw the biggest year-over-year gains with an eight-percent uptick in comparison to FY2014.

The bulk of the entire revenue came from tribal gaming operations with more than $250 million in annual gaming win. There have been 31 operations with a minimum of $250 million in gaming revenue, and so they accounted for greater than $13.4 billion in revenue in FY2015.

“The strong regulation that tribes in addition to federal regulators and other stake holders provides has played a key role within the stability and growth of the Indian gaming industry by providing consistency and predictability,” NIGC Chairman Jonodev Osceola Chaudhuri said.

Indian gaming funds social services, public works, education, housing, health care, emergency services, public safety and cultural presentation programs.

Chaudhuri added that the Indian gaming industry is in a period of “tremendous growth and advancement.” Same goes for the economic of America’s gambling industry.

The commercial casino industry within the America reported $40.2 billion in gaming revenue in calendar year 2015, which was an all-time high.
