Two brothers from Detroit are going to prison for robbing a poker game in 2015, in line with a report from the Detroit Free Press.
Terence Montreal Ayers, 22, and Tyler Terrill Ayers, 26, both entered plea deals that experience them potentially spending decades in prison. In line with the report, Terrence received six years to 50 years for 13 counts of armed robbery and 6 years to twenty years for one count of first-degree home invasion. Tyler was given 14 years to 40 years for home invasion and 13 counts of armed robbery, along with five years to 8 years for assault.
The brothers were two of 5 men charged in reference to the crime. The opposite three also agreed to plea deals and were sentenced to prison as well.
The poker game was held in Genoa Township, that's west of Detroit.
One of the victims was hit within the head with a baton. The boys stole a cash box, car keys, wallets and cellphones from the poker players.
