This just got officially interesting.
Yes, the WSOP is often interesting, and yes, there was many a fair story pop out of the principle Event, but it has been a long, long damned time since anyone has seen Daniel Negreanu on Day 6 of the WSOP. Tomorrow we'll see that very thing.
Negreanu finished the day with 3,620,000 chips. The common stack a number of the final 69 players is 2.75 million.
Negreanu offered an extraordinary understatement: "THAT IS fun."
The last time Negreanu got this deep in a major Event was 14 years ago. In 2001, he made all of it how you can 11th place. He's cashed since then, but that is the primary time since 2001 that he is made it this deep.
While our concentration is going to turn entirely to Negreanu tomorrow, we won't let the night pass without congratulating one in every of our newest Team Pros, Aditya Agarwal, who tonight scored his best-ever WSOP finish. Agarwal came in 71st after losing an all-in with pocket threes versus ace-king. The score earned him $96,445.
Now, it is time for a fast rest before going back for Day 6 on Monday. Negreanu and the remainder of the sphere will return tomorrow at noon.
