Matteo Mutti bests IPT crowd in Nova Gorica

Two hundred sixty-five players crowded into Casino Perla this week for the Italian Poker Tour's first Season 7 stop in Nova Gorica. One of them, Matteo Mutti, walked away with the title and lion's share of the €257,050 prize pool.

Mutti's win earned him €60,000 and Nova Gorica crown.

Heads-up against fellow Italian Christian Favale, Mutti called in with [Qd][5d] vs. Favale's [Ah][9h].

Mutti's heads up opponent was former PokerStars Team Online Christian Favale, from Italy, who took second place for Euro 36,000. The board ran out [Kc][5c][Jd][8d][5h] to give Mutti the win, the cash, and a nice PokerStars watch.

The IPT's next stop will be in Malta 21 - 25 October 2015 where it will join with the European Poker Tour for a massive two-week-long festival. You can win packages on PokerStars right now that award €1,100 IPT buy-ins and €400 for expenses.
