Prince George's Casino Developer To Be Named This Month

NO Deposit bonus $43

Published on December 2, 2013 by April Gardner

The state of Maryland will soon have a new casino that is expected to change the gaming industry, and the developer of that new casino is expected to be named by the time the new year begins. The state has narrowed the list of potential developers to three.

Over the past few months, three developers have made their pitches and shown their hands, hoping to secure the license to build a casino in Prince George's County. The casino is part of one of the most anticipated gaming expansions in the Northeast, and one that could affect casinos throughout the region for years to come.

MGM Resorts International, which owns casinos throughout the US, placed a bid they hope will land them the Prince George's casino. The MGM proposal would bring a casino to the Potomac River at National Harbor. The casino would be located off of I95, which makes it accessible to both Maryland residents, and travelers touring up the East Coast.

The MGM bid was the most lucrative of the three until Penn National revamped their bid to include an additional $320 million the company agreed to pump into the Maryland health and education systems. That brought the total bid of Penn National to over $1 billion. MGM's proposal was for a $925 million facility.

The third bid, placed by Greenwood Racing, is considered the long shot, with a $761 million proposal. The Greenwood group also upped their bid in recent weeks, adding a promise of $100 million to road improvements.

"While the MGM bid looks to be the obvious choice, Maryland regulators are strongly considering each of the other proposals," said analyst Harvey Franz. "No matter which proposal wins, Maryland will soon become one of the gaming giants in the region with the addition of this new casino."

Maryland is chasing both Pennsylvania and New Jersey in terms of gaming revenue. Atlantic City had been the premiere gaming destination on the East Coast until three years ago when Pennsylvania passed New Jersey as the top grossing casino industry in the East. Pennsylvania trails only Nevada in overall gaming revenue in the US.

Maryland is considered to have one of the best preventative programs for problem gambling and treatment. The state started gaining national notoriety for the programs, and its policies are being modeled throughout the country.

A couple of unlucky pots for Jonas Mackoff. First he had to chop a pot with J♥5♠ against Lucas Blanco's J♣8♠ after Mackoff bet both the flop and turn of a J♦5♣T♠6♥ board. Both checked the 6♠ river and Mackoff's two pair was counterfeited.

The very next hand saw Olivier Decamps shove in the small blind for 375,000 and Blanco made the call.

Decamps: K♦6♦
Blanco: T♠9♠

The board came 5♦8♣6♠Q♠J♥ and eventually Decamps couldn't dodge all the bullets. Blanco is up to 2.3 million and 12 players are left.

7.21pm: Dmytko Samoilenko eliminated in 15th place (€14,700); Cetin Sarikaya eliminated in 14th place (€14,700)

Mackoff: A♠8♠
Sarikaya: Q♠Q♣
Samoilenko: J♠8♥

The river was the 2♥ which changed nothing. Mackoff moved up to 5.9 million and knocked out both other players.

7.14pm: Gabriel Chiva eliminated in 16th place (€12,800)
Gabriel Chiva is out, he was all in with but couldn't beat belonging to Atanas Malinov.

7.09pm: Novak doubles up
David Novak limped preflop and Ayman Zbib made it 230,000 on the button. Novak flat-called to see a 5♥5♠Q♥ flop which he checked. Zbib moved all in and Novak called instantly.

6.41pm: Break time
Players are on their final break of the day.

Eureka4_Prague_Atanas_Malinov

Atanas Malinov won a lot of big pots over the last level

6.40pm: Sammartino out
Atanas Malinov is starting to bulldozer his way through the field. Dario Sammartino shoved for 674,000 after a limp and Malinov reshoved behind him, getting the limper to fold. Sammartino held K♠T♦ but Malinov's K♥Q♥ dominated both preflop and after a board of Q♠J♣K♦4♣6♥. Malinov moved to 6 million.

6.33pm: Calonnec eliminated; new chip leader
Atanas Malinov limped preflop and then Franck Calonnec shoved for 600,000 in the blinds, Malinov called with A♦9♠ and Calonnec's 6♣6♦ was racing for the Frenchman's tournament life.

The board came 7♦3♦9♥K♠7♠ and Malinov won the pot. The Bulgarian has 5.4 million now.

6.17pm: No dinner break
Tournament director Luca Vivaldi has just informed both the players and the press that there will be no dinner break. Instead there will a normal 15-minute break followed by two more levels. At that point, if the final table has not been reached then play will end for the night.

The reason for this is that the players have already had two very long days and that by the start of level 29, the average stack with just eight players would be 45 big blinds. Given that the tournament has been moving at a fairly brisk pace, the floor staff feel comfortable in finishing relatively earlier tonight and restarting tomorrow at 12.00pm CET with however many players are left.

6.00pm: Two more gone
Bartosz Zialkowski and Cedric Demore have both been eliminated to leave just 18 players left now in the Eureka4 Prague Main Event.

5.41pm: Pyzara eliminated
Kacper Pyzara shoved for his last 400,000 preflop with T♣9♣ and Balasz Botond made the call with A♦J♣. The board came 8♠8♥5♥3♥K♥ and Botond's ace-high was still good, Botond now has three million. Just 20 players remain.

5.30pm: Level 26 - 25,000/50,000 (5,000)
The tournament is now on the sixth level of the day.

5.24pm: Malinov wins big against Charmpilas
Periklis Charmpilas fired a bet of 105,000 on a 9♣3♦5♠ flop and Atanas Malinov made the call to see the K♠ on the turn. Charmpilas bet again, this time to the tune of 185,000 and Malinov called once more. The river was the 5♥ and Charmpilas checked, Malinov bet 575,000 and Charmpilas made the call.

The Bulgarian turned over K♣Q♥ and scooped a huge pot. He has about three million now while Charmpilas dropped to 1.1 million.

Eureka4_Prague_Periklis_Charmpilas

Periklis Charmpilas lost one of the biggest pots so far today

5.10pm: Chiva penalised
Gabriel Chiva just received a one-round penalty for exposing his hand. With action having already happened Periklis Charmpilas had mucked his cards but accidentally thrown them past the dealer and into Chiva's hand. Charmpilas told a member of the floor his hand and she checked for the cards but did not see the ones the Greek player had told her. Chiva complained and then turned over two aces claiming this had been his hand. As a result for deliberately exposing cards, the Romanian got a one-round penalty.

5.00pm: Przysucha out
Atanas Malinov raised to 80,000 preflop and was called by Olivier Decamps before Jan Przysucha moved all in for about 600,000 behind him. Malinov moved in as well and Decamps quickly folded.

Przysucha: A♥3♣
Malinov: 9♥9♣

The board came T♥4♠J♠8♦8♠ and the Czech player was eliminated in 23rd place. Cezar Chivulescu and Ivan Sebeledi are also both out.

4.45pm: Papadopoulos out; three-table redraw
Alexandros Papadopoulos three-bet all in from the blinds against Ayman Zbib and the latter made a fairly quick call.

Papadopoulos: K♠Q♠
Zbib: A♥T♣

The board came 5♥K♣A♦6♣4♣ and the Greek player was knocked out. 24 players remain.

4.40pm: Botond coolered
Endre Sagstuen just made quads on an A♦K♦K♣Q♦K♠ board with K♥J♥ and was all in on the river. Balasz Botond made the call on the end and flashed the A♠ when he saw the bad news. Sagstuen is up to about 2.4 million while Botond has about 820,000 remaining.

4.35pm: Updated chip counts
The complete chip counts from the end of level 24 are now up here.

4.30pm: Level 25 - 20,000/40,000 (5,000)

WSOP 2014: A record setting November Nine in place

NO Deposit bonus $43

And so it's all over. In the early hours of this morning the last hand of the World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas came to an end. After ten days of play the "November Nine" are now known, at least by name. Their backgrounds and chances of success when they return in November will now be pored over by the media, filling that time between now and that moment when one of them wins the first prize of $10 million.

November Nine celebration_2014WSOP_final.jpgCelebrations on stage

It's a record setting final table, featuring players from six nations. It includes a first Brazilian player to reach the final table in Bruno Politano, who will return as the short stack, but with one of poker's booming nations railing him every step of the way. It also features a Dutch player for the second year in succession. Jorrt van Hoof will return as the chip leader with more than 38 million.

Perhaps most notable is the inclusion of Mark Newhouse, who becomes the first player to reach a second November Nine, and the first back-to-back finalist since Dan Harrington in 2004.

Mark Newhouse_WSOP_final.jpgMark Newhouse

Newhouse finished ninth in 2013. When he began the main event this year he tweeted that he had no plans to finish ninth a second time. He may be right.

For followers of the European Poker Tour the name Martin Jacobson will stand out.

Martin Jacobson_2014WSOP_final.jpgMartin Jacobson

Jacobson is an EPT regular, with multiple final table appearances on the tour, including two runner-up finishes, and as the highest earner at the final will be among the favourites.

The full line up is as follows:

Seat 1 - Billy Pappaconstantinou, 29, Greece - 17,500,000
Seat 2 - Felix Stephensen, 23, United States - 32,775,000
Seat 3 - Jorryt van Hoof, 31, Netherlands - 38,375,000
Seat 4 - Mark Newhouse, 29, United States - 26,000,000
Seat 5 - Andoni Larrabe, 22, Spain - 22,550,000
Seat 6 - William Tonking, 27, United States - 15,050,000
Seat 7 - Daniel Sindelar, 30, United States - 21,200,000
Seat 8 - Martin Jacobson, 27, Stockholm - 14,900,000
Seat 9 - Bruno Politano , 31, Brazil - 12,125,000

They each face a return trip to Las Vegas to play the final table on 10 and 11 November. While the winner will receive a guaranteed $10 million, there's a further $18 million to be awarded for the other eight places, with the ninth place finisher already guaranteed $730,725.

1st place - $10,000,000
2nd place - $5,145,968
3rd place - $3,806,402
4th place - $2,848,833
5th place - $2,143,174
6th place - $1,622,080
7th place - $1,235,862
8th place - $947,077
9th place - $730,725

But for now the World Series is at an end. The tables have been dismantled and removed, the banners have been packed away for another year, and the Rio is returning to how it looked some eight weeks ago.

2014 WSOP November Nine_final.jpgThe November Nine

Thanks to everyone who has read our coverage from Las Vegas during that time. As always it's a privilege to be here and to be granted permission to watch it first-hand. It should be a great final table.

Shuffle up for the UKIPT All-In Kitchen

NO Deposit bonus $43

Food, or poker? Depending on what time of day it is, and maybe the size of your stack, it's sometimes hard to work out which is the more pleasurable. So we're happy to announce we've discovered a way to bypass this universal quandary, with an innovative pop-up restaurant.

This week PokerStars and Jones & Sons teamed up to celebrate the new season of the UK and Ireland Poker Tour. Uniting poker with gourmet food, the "All-In Kitchen" was created, the world's first pay-by-poker restaurant.

all-in-kitchen_menu.jpg

It sounds like something out of a daydream between hands, but it's exactly as it sounds -- you play poker to determine how much you pay for your meal.

The first All-In Kitchen proved a huge success this week, and there are now plans to roll out the experience nationwide across all the UKIPT stops this season.

Here's how you put your money* where your mouth is, whether you're a poker rookie, or regularly frequent the world of Super High Rollers (free stuff is free stuff after all).
First you play three hands of poker. Then, what you pay is based on how many chips you have at the end of those three hands. That could be £10, £5 or absolutely nothing, all complements of PokerStars.

And the thing is, even if you bust out in the first hand with a gloriously ill-considered hero call, you're still only paying £10 for a great three course meal, normally worth about £50 a head, with a cocktail to wash it down with of course.

all-in-kitchen_logo.jpg

As Andy Jones, Founder of Jones & Sons, put it: "I love food and never shy away from the tables when I get the chance, so having the opportunity to create a menu that combines two of my favourite things was something I jumped at. Embracing Poker within the dishes was a lot of fun and some of the dishes that hit the cutting room floor were a bit out there, but I can't wait to see the results and serve up some Aces."

One look at the menu, curated by Jones & Sons, and you get an immediately idea why, when it comes to the All-In Kitchen, you can't really lose.

The gourmet offering will feature a 'Royal Flush of King Crab Thermidor', 'Queen Scallops accompanied by Salt Baked Swede and Bacon Marmalade, '4 Of A Kind of Lamb Chops, Rump, Kidney and Shoulder With A Rosemary Jus' and even a '2 Pair of Pear Tarte Tatin, Pear Caramel and Ice Cream'.

So let's see: £10 at most for a £50 three course gourmet meal? That's £40 added to the prize pool right there.

all-in-kitchen_food.jpg

The All-In Kitchen has already packed up its London operation but plans are already afoot for it to re-appear at future stops. Watch out for details of how you can book a seat as the Tour continues.

For now, shuffle up and eat.

* The event is meant for customers to have fun. Poker at this event is optional and no money is wagered during the poker element of the experience. You can rock up and soak up the atmosphere and pay full price for you meal, or you have the option of playing a few hands and winning your meal for less or completely FREE.

PCA 2015: The previously unknown high roller chip leader Ilkin Garibli

NO Deposit bonus $43

Ilkin Garibli is confident, poised, and in control. He has plenty of chips, and has demonstrated a knowing appreciation of what it takes to succeed in a High Roller event. Which makes it even more remarkable that this is Garibli's first live tournament.

Garibli, from Azerbaijan, nearly didn't play this tournament. But a change of mind has proved fortuitous. Among the leaders during the event, he's now in the final seven, and guaranteed to pick up a sizable payday and leave an impression on the entire festival.

"It's my first time I decided to play a tournament," said Garibli. "I normally just play cash games with friends. And as you can see it's worked out quite well."

Ilkin_garibli_pca2015_hrd3.jpgThe previously unknown Ilkin Garibli

Garibli was in the Bahamas on holiday with family. His friends, regulars on the tour, were also here for the PCA. They managed to persuade Garibli to stay on, despite his aversion to tournaments.

"I prefer cash games," he said. "These (tournaments) take too long, I don't have enough patience. But I can't complain anymore."

He can't complain because he's now guaranteed more than $221,000 for his first cash. That will at least give him a Hendon Mob page and something of a reputation. But Garibli, whose home is in Azerbaijan but who studied banking and finance in London, has his eye on only one prize.

"To be honest I'm happy I cashed, but let's just say I'd rather win first place. The pay jumps between sixth and seventh don't really affect me that much. So I'm going for the big money. I hope that can happen."

Such confidence has been on display from the start. Garibli is up against some of the best players in the game, but does not seem fazed. Quite the opposite. Wearing shorts, polo shirt and cap, he looks like any other poker player. But his self-belief is something different.

"Probably because I've been running quite good I can't really say that they have a huge edge on me right now," said Garibli. "But obviously I know they're ten times better than I am. We'll see how it goes."

Regardless of what happens today we can expect to see more of Garibli, who plans trips to Malta and Monaco. But first he has the closing stage of the PCA to contend with.

"I'm feeling comfortable," he said at the last break, with a stack set to bloom to more than 4 million in the next level. "Having the chip leader on my left, three seats to my left, is a bit tough. He's very active today. But we'll see how that goes."

It looks set to go on for some time yet.

MicroMillions 6: fzmas annihilates Courchevel final table to win Event #79 [$3.30 PL Courchevel]

SLOTMAGIC777 is Your $100 FREE Redeem code use banner
panthercasino.com sport betting and casino

I don't speak Swedish, but I think "fzmas" is loosely translated as "terminator." With seven players remaining in MicroMillions Event #79 Pot-limit Courchevel, fzmas took out all six opponents including the final three players in only four hands. That's right, three players liquidated in only four hands. Courchevel must come easy to fzmas, who encountered very little resistance en route to a rather easy victory.

MicroMillions 6 Event #70 $3.30 PL Courchevel attracted 2,493 runners. These bodacious and adventurous Courchevel enthusiasts boosted the prize pool to $7,479.00. The top 320 places paid out with $1,273.45 set aside to the eventual champion.

With nine remaining, action went hand-for-hand. Sweden's fzmas had amassed the biggest stack with 3 million, while two short stacks, Sabr1988 and kuzbass 71, were trying to keep their heads above water with under 500K apiece.

Sabr1988 became the unfortunate "bubble boy" after getting it all-in preflop with J♠ flashing as the door card. Sabr1988's A♥A♣K♣5♠5♥ lost to tapadeli's A♦K♥J♣9♥6♣ when the board ran out K♦Q♣J♥7♠2♦. tapadeli won the pot with two pair and Sabr1988 bubbled off the final table in ninth place. The final table of eight was set.

MM6_E79_FT.jpg

Event #79 - Final Table Chip Counts:
Seat 1: pulya1980 (1,537,172)
Seat 2: tapadeli (1,032,425)
Seat 3: kuzbass 71 (762,078)
Seat 4: hustler1984 (496,763)
Seat 5: avictoria (1,396,307)
Seat 6: ivanvilchez8 (1,747,256)
Seat 7: fzmas (3,067,713)
Seat 8: nastine666 (2,425,286)

The Courchevel final table commenced during Level 41 with blinds at 60K and 120K. fzmas held a firm lead with 3 million, while hustler1984 clung to the short stack with a shade under 500K.

tapadeli eliminated in 8th place

It did not take very long before someone became the first casualty at the final table. With 9♦ showing as the door card... pulya1980 min-raised 240,000 and tapadeli called all in for 150,347.

pulya1980: 9♣9♥6♥4♠2♦
tapadeli: Q♦Q♠J♥T♠2♣

The board ran out 9♦8♣2♥5♣3♥. pulya1980 flopped a set of nines, but rivered a six-high straight to win the pot. tapadeli flopped a straight draw, but failed to improve. Argentina's tapadeli became the first player to exit at the final table and hit the road in eighth place, which paid out $74.79.

hustler198 eliminated in 7th place

Canada's hustler198 was on life support after getting crippled and nearly obliterated in a previous hand. The hand that finally did him in... the 7♦ was the door card, so big-stacked bully fzmas opened to a heady raise of 420,000, super-short hustler1984 called all-in 66,763, and avictoria also called (fzma's original raise) from the big blind. Three-handed. On a flop of 7♦7♠3♥, fzmas fired out 97,676 and avictoria foled. Heads-up. Both players tabled their cards:

fzmas: 7♣6♠5♥5♦4♠
hustler1984: A♦Q♣9♥8♦6♣

The turn was the 6♥ and the river was the 3♠. fzmas flopped trips and turned a full house to win the pot. hustler1984 could only muster up two pair -- sevens and sixes. For a seventh-place finish, hustler1984 collected $149.58.

ivanvilchez8 eliminated in 6th place

On first street, the 9♠ was visible. ivanvilchez8 opened to 490,000, fzmas bumped it up to 1,610,000, and ivanvilchez8 called all-in 467,256.

fzmas: A♦A♥7♣7♥3♦
ivanvilchez8: A♣K♣Q♣Q♦8♥

fzmas was ahead with Aces against Queens. The board ran out 9♠6♠4♥4♠T♣. Both players only improved to two pair, but fzmas's two pair (Aces and fours) was superior to ivanvilchez8's two pair (Queens and fours). Argentina's ivanvilchez8 busted out in sixth place, which paid out $224.37.

kuzbass eliminated in 5th place

Another shorty bid goodbye. With 9♣ showing on first street, short-stacked kuzbass 71 open-shoved for 174,156 and both fzmas and nastine666 called. On a flop of J♦9♣8♥, fzmas fired out 480,000 and nastine666 bailed. Heads-up.

fzmas: K♣Q♣T♠8♦5♦
kuzbass 71: A♣K♦9♦5♥4♦

fzmas flopped a straight and kuzbass 71 was in deep trouble. The turn was the 3♥ and the river was the J♠. kuzbass 71's two pair was no match against fzmas's Queen-high straight. fzmas dragged the pot and added more chips to his big stack. Russia's kuzbass 71 went busto in fifth place, which paid out $373.95.

avictoria eliminated in 4th place

Four-handed went quick. If you blinked, you missed the action. The 8♣ was the door card. avictoria opened to 700,000, fzmas bumped it up to 2.3 million, and avictoria called all-in for 936,307.

fzmas: Q♣Q♦T♥8♦7♣
avictoria: K♠Q♠Q♥J♣5♦

The board ran out 9♣8♣7♦3♠2♣. Unfortunately, avictoria did not improve on a pair of Queens and lost to fzmas's rivered Queen-high flush. Germany's avictoria took home $523.53 for a fourth-place finish.

nastine666 eliminated in 3rd place

On the very next hand, Brazil's nastine666 met an unfortunate fate. Guess what appeared as the door card? Yes, another ominousrominous nine! The 9♦ was exposed on first street, fzmas opened to 700,000, nastine666 bombed it all-in for 2,011,130, and fzmas called.

nastine666: K♦Q♥9♥7♦4♠
fzmas: A♣Q♣9♣8♣3♦

The board ran out J♠J♦9♦5♠8♥. Both players had two pair -- Jacks and nines -- however, fzmas held an Ace-kicker and won the pot. Belarus' nastine666 busted out in third place, which paid out $707.81.

HEADS-UP: pulya1980 (Russia) vs. fzmas (Sweden)
Seat 1: pulya1980 (2,617,519 in chips)
Seat 7: fzmas (9,847,481 in chips)

With two remaining, fzmas held a commanding lead approximately 4-to-1, however. Although heads-up only lasted two hands, fzmas lost the first pot and coughed up a major advantage.

pulya1980 eliminated in 2nd place; fzmas is the new Courchevel champion!

On the first hand of heads up, pulya1980 avoided a quickie elimination and doubled up. pulya1980 won the first pot with full boat holding A♣K♠Q♣6♦6♣ against fzmas' A♠8♣7♠4♠3♥ after the board ran out A♦Q♠Q♦J♦4♥. pulya1980 dodged a bullet, as fzmas' lead was trimmed to only two million (7.2 million to 5.2 million).

Despite the initial setback, fzmas stopped pulya1980's comeback dead cold. On the second hand of heads-up, delivered a knock-out blow.

On the final hand of the tournament, fzmas flopped a flush and that's all she wrote. Another nine as the door card, with the 9♠ exposed on first street. fzmas raised to 600,000, pulya1980 bumped it up to 1,400,000, and fzmas called. The flop was J♠9♠4♠. pulya1980 fired out 2,800,000, and fzmas called. The turn was the 5♣, pulya1980 bet 1,035,038, and fzmas called.

pulya1980: Q♥9♦9♣5♦2♣
fzmas: Q♣J♣T♠6♠2♦

The T♦ fell on the river, which did not held pulya1980. fzmas won the hand with a flopped flush.

For a soulful and hard-nosed runner-up performance, Russia's pulya1980 collected $897.48.

Congrats to Sweden's fzmas for winning Event #79 Courchevel and taking home a first-place prize worth $1,273.45.

Game of the Day: Bulls at Warriors

Chicago Bulls at Golden State Warriors (-9.5, 210.5)

Klay Thompson set the bar ridiculously high with his NBA-record 37 third-quarter points on Friday but managed to follow that performance up in fine form as the Golden State Warriors stayed hot. Thompson will try to post his third straight game with 30 or more points when the Warriors host the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday. The Bulls looked strong in back-to-back wins over San Antonio and Dallas last week but fell at home to Miami on Sunday and are beginning a six-game trip.

Thompson “slumped” to 31 points in a win over the Boston Celtics on Sunday after matching the NBA season high with 52 on Friday and is averaging 31.8 points on 56.5 percent shooting in the last five games. The budding superstar will get a stiff test from another standout two-guard in Chicago’s Jimmy Butler, who remains strong on the defensive end even while his offense has slipped of late. Butler slumped to a season-low five points on 2-of-8 shooting in 43 minutes during Sunday’s 96-84 loss to the Heat.

TV: 10:30 p.m. ET, NBATV, CSN Chicago, CSN Bay Area (Golden State)

LINE HISTORY: Most shops opened the Warriors as 9.5-point faves, which is where it currently sits at the time of writing.

WHAT CAPPERS SAY: "The oddsmakers have been forced to start inflating the point spread on the Warriors as Golden State has been an ATS covering machine this season. Golden State started the season 28-12-1 (70% ATS) before failing to cover as an -18 point favorite on Sunday versus the Celtics. It will be interesting to see if that straight-up win, but point spread loss, is a sign of things to come as no team in recent history has gone a whole season hitting 70% ATS or better. In fact, each year there is only one to two teams maximum that even cover 60% ATS over the course of 82 games, so Golden State is probably due for some point spread regression in the near future." DANCE TEAM WAR:

ABOUT THE BULLS (29-17): Chicago’s 16-6 road record is bested only by Golden State (15-5) and Atlanta (17-5), and the Bulls have already earned road wins against Western Conference powers Dallas, Memphis and the Los Angeles Clippers. “Three games in four nights coming up,” forward Pau Gasol told reporters. “It’s going to be a challenging road trip. But this is what the league is about, challenges and see how well you do.” Gasol is averaging 16.7 rebounds over the last three games and has posted six straight double-doubles.

ABOUT THE WARRIORS (36-6): Golden State has won a franchise-record 19 straight games at home but had an NBA-record streak of 11 straight home wins by at least 13 points come to an end in Sunday’s 114-111 win over the Celtics. “This is the point of the schedule when it gets really tough to get up emotionally night after night after night,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr told reporters. “It was kind of a workmanlike effort. We didn’t do anything glaringly inefficient. For the most part, we did our jobs. We just didn’t have a lot of life and legs.” One player who did show some legs was All-Star Stephen Curry, who cut to the basket for a rare dunk late to fire up the bench and notched his third straight game in double figures in assists with 11.
